Engagement session in the green heart of Edinburgh
It was a beautiful September morning, a bit less than one year before their wedding. Zoe and Euan chose Holyrood Park with the dramatic views of Arthur’s Seat at one side and the old town of Edinburgh at the other. The warm, early autumn sun was pleasant, just ideal for our walk, chat and shoot. They weren’t camera shy, perfectly happy with themselves, confident and very much in love! We started at the pond and walk up toward St Anthony’s Chapel. It was still quiet, we managed to get there just before everyone else.
We had a great chat about Zoe and Euan’s wedding day at the Restoration Yard Dalkeith Park. Making plans of where to take them for our ‘formal photographs’ during the drinks reception, getting to know each other, listening to ‘their story’ and just making some nice memories filled our engagement session time quickly.
Post-Covid wedding at the Restoration Yard Dalkeith Park
It’s been one year since Zoe and Euan’s wedding at the end of May 2021. One of my first post-lockdown weddings. Nobody knew what was happening, but everyone enjoyed the moment after a year in isolation. It was a beautiful day, but also a day filled with those weird feelings. Zoe, Euan and their guests took the most of this unforgettable day at the Restoration Yard in Dalkeith Country Park.
Where history meets nature
After so many years of being together, they finally got married! Surrounded by the most tranquil scenery, under the perfectly beautiful blue skies, listening to the slow river nearby and in the presence of just a very intimate group of their loved ones those two best friends became husband and wife.
