Iris Art Photography are experienced in newborn photography in Edinburgh, Glasgow and beyond. My reportage style captures your family in a relaxed setting giving you a set of photographs that will perfectly embody this very special time of your life that you and your child can treasure forever.
Your newborn baby photo session should ideally be scheduled within the first two weeks following the birth as this is when babies are generally more sleepy and amenable to being photographed. Each session will last at least a couple of hours. We are very patient and experienced when it comes to settling your baby. Both parents and siblings are encouraged to take part in the sessions to have some family pictures to treasure.
Newborn photography sessions include:
- Pre-session telephone, email or in person consultation to plan and prepare for your bespoke photography session
- Shooting time (baby, portrait sessions – up to one hour session)
- Editing of the images in professional photography programs
- High resolution photos
licence for printing and sharing your photos with your family and friends.

Newborn lifestyle session - Digital Package from £490 - 1hr
All photos received digitally, high resolution, watermark free with license for you to print and share, approx. 50+ photos received within the price;
Prints Package £590
1hrs session, online gallery and 3 large prints 12×16″
Album packages from £890:
1hrs session, online gallery and a photo album 8×8″. Prices depend on the size and type of chosen album.
Baptism / Christening from £490
High resolution, watermark free images 50+ or from £790 (small photo book and prints option)
