Scottish Pentlands Engagement Session

Scottish Pentlands Engagement Session – Susan and Grant

Scottish Pentlands Engagement Session

Freezing and windy, but happy and cheery – let’s go to Pentlands

Are you planning to have an adventurous and wild Edinburgh location session? Have a look here!

It was a late Sunday afternoon in October. The sun was setting, the sky was stormy, the wind was blowing, the cold was nearly unbearable. We met at the top of one of the most picturesque of Pentland Hills for our engagement session. Susan, Grant and their pup dressed appropriately for the occasion! Layering and strong, warm boots are definitely the key, if you want to enjoy Scotland!

After a short walk we reached our destination. Our ears and noses were frozen, I could hardly feel my fingers, but the laughs were never-ending. The wind was strong, we were struggling to get to the top, but when we got there it was overwhelmingly beautiful. Location photo sessions may not be the easiest but they’re so much fun. Adventures and imagination definitely create lots of memories!

Stunning sunset – Golden Hour

Just at the very end of the session the skies opened and we were blessed with the amazing colours of the sunset. So worth the freezing cold walk. Standing on the top of a hill, breathing the freshest of airs, looking at changing the colours was just incredible. We finished with a great gallery of their engagement photographs and a sense of satisfaction. Also, we were ready for some hot chocolate or a good spiced tea

Take a little peek!

16 November 2017  · Johnstone  · I’d like to say a massive thank you to Justina for our engagement session which we won through the Hamden wedding show competition. I was really nervous as neither of us had ever done anything like this, however Justina made us feel really relaxed and helped direct us when needed and at other times we weren’t even aware that she was there, it just felt like our usual Sunday walk with our crazy pup! I wasn’t sure how the pictures would turn out as my hair was all over the place with the wind, but Justina managed to capture some really special moments! We would highly recommend booking an engagement shoot as it has definitely helped prepare us for the big day.
