About a week ago I had an amazing pleasure of shooting an engagement session with Dee and Steven. It was such an lovely afternoon in one of the most picturesque parts of Edinburgh.
Dee and Steven enquired about the wedding packages at the start of this year. They came to see my work at the SECC Wedding Exhibition and secured the date with me. I’m so honoured to be the photographer for their wedding in March next year at the stunning Sherbrooke Castle Hotel. Dee and Steven also entered my wedding exhibition competition and were one of our three lucky winners! One of the prizes was an engagement session, which they decided to have in Holyrood Park in Edinburgh. Holyrood Park and Arthur’s Seat has a special place in their hearts as they’re successful marathon runners and have completed a few marathon runs around this gorgeous place.
The evening was just perfect for the shoot. A few joggers, dog walkers and some tourists passed by. It was great to hear about Dee and Steven’s years together, the proposal and future plans for the wedding. Arriving just in time for sunset, the gorgeous couple’s feelings for each other were reflected in the golden skies. It was such a lovely evening for an engagement session.
