Edinburgh Engagement Session – Denise and Duncan
I met Duncan and Denise a while back. They were still at the very first stages of planning their dream day. Denise is a designer herself and she knew everything was going to be very unique, personal and just the way they want.
You could see the excitement in my eyes when Denise said they would be wearing some tartan accessories during the engagement session! The colours they chose for the shoot were to be consistent with the tartan colours they are planning to wear on their wedding day. That’s all the secrets I can reveal for now!
For our engagement session we agreed on one of December days in the beautiful Pentland Hills just outside of Edinburgh. The day turned out to be the coldest day of the century and we instantly knew we had to be quick. Denise bravely decided to march towards the loch without her coat. The cold wind was cutting us through but the great spirits were there! The chats about the upcoming wedding definitely warmed us up!
The sun started to go down and gave us a beautiful haze. Our fingers were numb, our eyelashes covered in frost. It was time to finish our engagement session and start the countdown! Officially, in only 17 days I’ll be on my way to their chosen castle!
