It’s where everything happens – Arthur’s Seat Edinburgh Engagement Session
Jasmin and Hugh’s Arthur’s Seat Edinburgh Engagement Session was shot on a lovely evening back in June. We had been waiting for a nice, sunny evening for quite some time, as the end of May and beginning of June’s torrential rains evenings weren’t what we had in mind for a romantic engagement session.
I loved everything about the session: the happy wedding chats, the hopeful planning, considering different wedding day scenarios and the shooting itself. But mostly the fact that we finally managed to meet each other and have some great time taking our engagement photographs was amazing.
Is having an engagement session a good idea?
Engagement sessions are always a great occasion to get to know your photographer, to laugh about the things you’ll be stressing about on your wedding day and, most likely, the last occasion for you to get a set of relaxed photographs from ‘the times you weren’t married yet’. A fantastic experience, a great time to gain more confidence in front of the camera and an opportunity to create some beautiful memories. Those moments will be caught in my photographs and will last long years to come.
Kind words …
Jasmin and Hugh had a great time. At least that’s what they said;) We finished after around an hour and a generous gallery of engagement photographs has been sent out to them. This is what they said after they received their mostly candid photos from our Arthur’s Seat engagement session:
Hi Justina, I have literally had a quick look through and WOW, you have done an amazing job with these. Absolutely love them. Although I need to calm down in the laughing and scrubbing my nose. So glad we got this in, now I know what not to do haha. But honestly, gorgeous shots and fab editing, love, love, love. Jasmin
Hi Justina, these have massively exceeded my expecations. Love them!!!!!” Hugh
We shall meet in France soon
The rest is history… well not quite. The rest is just about to begin really. We have only a couple of weeks left to go until their destination wedding in France. Their beautiful, emotional, natural, traditional Indian/Scottish and very intimate wedding in the middle of the southern vineyards. Can I wait? Well, you guessed it!…
