We have the winner!

DC-mark-5695

So today is the day! We are finally announcing the winner of our Annual Contest. But first and foremost, I’d like to thank all participants and followers. I appreciate your effort, likes, comments, messages, texts! The rules were fairly clear and easy to follow; we were looking to pick somebody out of random. Somebody, who liked our Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/Iris-Art-Photography-636781013104890/?fref=ts and contacted me with their proposed shooting theme, interests, hobbies, inspirations (optional). After all, I took all recent page likes (not post likes) into consideration. The names of potential winners were written down on small pieces of paper and my little one had an amazing fun of picking a name out of her sun hut.   Read more

The annual competition time!

BeFunky-Collage.jpg File type: image/jpeg

Let’s start our annual competition! This year’s theme is: “Find what you love and let it kill you!” (Charles Bukowski).

Your job here is to show me what you’re interested in, what inspires you, what describes you. My job will be to capture it. No studios. No white, plain backgrounds. All kept simple, real and natural. Your interests can be as small as wearing quirky socks, as simple as polishing your car, as repetitive as putting your make up on, as big as playing a gig. Whatever it is you’re involved in right now. If the main thing you’re involved in and you have time for at this moment is your baby/child/family, that’s all we need. That’s big. Let me capture it! No posing. All real. Just you. Get involved and I guarantee you that in years time, you’ll sit down and look at the photos with a smile. As trivial as it sounds. Let’s capture THIS Moment.
