Every now and again we announce a competition. Different reasons, different prizes. This time I photographed our Murrayfield Wedding Fair competition winners, a lovely and fun couple Kirsty and Neil. We met for an engagement session in the stunning South Queensferry.
I met Kirsty and her friends at a weeding fair in January. Neil wasn’t there at that time, but he came to our February wedding fair at the SECC Glasgow to say ‘hi’. At that time we already new they were our winners. All that was left to decide was the date and location for our shoot.
In general, men avoid wedding fairs, I’m not sure why. A wedding show is a great place to be. A perfect place to meet your suppliers, get a goody bag, eat free food, drink free wine. A great place to socialise, get ideas and inspirations. If you’re planning to come to one, make sure you come to see us at our Glasgow Wedding Exhibition at Hampden Park this August. There will be more information about this event available on our Facebook page soon. You can also message me for details at any time.
For the engagement shoot Kirsty and Neil chose South Queensferry. Stunning, probably the most recognizable sight of Scotland. It was a cold, windy Sunday, but the sense of humour, smiles and jokes never stopped. We took a walk into the nearby woods and had a fun session with the Forth Rail Bridge in the background. It was just a perfect weather for natural, dynamic photos. Now for them is to await their special day on 26 July 2017.
